Le phénomène complexe habituellement connu sous le nom de « neoavanguardia » constitue un tournant décisif pour la culture italienne : un phénomène cependant difficile à définir, même pour les protagonistes mêmes de cette saison, qui discutent encore sur ses caractéristiques et ses limites.La recherche vise à mettre en valeur ce moment charnière de la culture italienne, en soulignant ses racines philosophiques dans les travaux de certains chercheurs importants (Antonio Banfi, Luciano Anceschi, Luigi Pareyson) et son entrelacement de langages et de disciplines artistiques ; en même temps, l’ « opera aperta » d’Umberto Eco constitue un moment décisif pour la dimension philosophique et sociologique de la nouvelle avant-garde.La collaboration entre Luciano Berio et Edoardo Sanguineti constitue, à cet égard, un exemple parfait de cet entrelacement : leurs parcours artistiques se sont rencontrés dans une série d'œuvres qui ont mis en valeur une perspective originale à travers l'avant-garde et une confrontation avec les thèmes les plus urgents du débat esthétique du XXe siècle.
The complex phenomenon usually known as neoavanguardia constitutes a decisive watershed for Italian culture: a phenomenon, though, that is hard to define, even for the very protagonists of that season, who still discuss about its characteristics and boundaries.The research aims at highlighting this pivotal moment of Italian culture, emphasizing its philosophical roots in the work of some important scholars (Antonio Banfi, Luciano Anceschi, Luigi Pareyson) and its intertwining of artistic languages and disciplines; at the same time, Umberto Eco’s opera aperta constitutes a decisive moment for the philosophical and sociological dimension of the neoavanguardia.The collaboration between Luciano Berio and Edoardo Sanguineti constitutes, in this regard, a perfect example of this interweaving: their artistic paths met in a series of works which have highlighted an original perspective throughout the avant-garde and a confrontation with the most urgent topics of XX century aesthetic debate.
